July 30, 2007

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH — the Los Angeles-based band featuring ex-W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts, former MOTOGRATER vocalist Ivan Moody (Ghost),ex-U.P.O. guitarist Zoltan Bathory, former DEADSETT bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer — is featured on this week's edition of "Ryan's Rock Show". Moody discusses the band's participation in the Family Values tour, his former band MOTOGRATER, and why he self-induces vomiting before every live performance.

The "Ryan's Rock Show" program featuring FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH is available for streaming now through Sunday, August 5 at www.ryansrockshow.com.

"Ryan's Rock Show" is a weekly radio program featuring the cream of the crop of up-and-coming bands and artists. As an alternative to mainstream corporate radio, "Ryan's Rock Show" provides listeners with interviews of today's up-and-comers, as well as showcases new music that pushes the envelope of the music industry.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's video for the song "The Bleeding" has been posted at MySpace. The clip was shot in Los Angeles with director Bradley Scott, known for his work with THE COMAS, MIDNIGHT MOVIES and RINGSIDE. The video deals with a familiar subject for many of us — unhealthy relationships. Bathory says of the impetus for the clip, "We're getting a lot of fan mail about how this song is helping people through these relationships, where there's nothing left but the thorns, not the roses. A huge number of people living their lives in these emotional prisons… I should say emotional crack houses… hitting that 'pipe of pain. We actually shot a 'mini movie.'" Also appearing in the video is prolific actress Danielle Harris — star of the upcoming remake of the horror classic "Halloween", directed by Rob Zombie. Her gritty performance brings the drama to new heights in the clip.

An e-card for FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's debut opus, "The Way of the Fist", can be accessed at this location. Due on July 31 via Firm Music, a branch of the highly successful entertainment talent management company The Firm, the CD was recorded at Next Level Studios with Stevo "Shotgun" Bruno (PRONG, MÖTLEY CRÜE) and at Complex Studios with Mikey Sarkisyan (SPINESHANK). Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Logan Mader (MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY).

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH describes its music as "true metal... undiluted, raw as metal was always meant to be. In fact, for FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH it was important that everyone involved at any stage of this recording was a diehard metalhead."
